Nevermore cross stitch project

Nevermore cross stitch project

Quoth the raven, Nevermore.

You’ve seen it before. The Nevermore cross stitch pattern, and now here it is!

Finally, after almost a month of hard work, I’ve finished stitching Nevermore. As you may know, it’s a pattern found in the 2017 Just Cross Stitch Halloween issue. It’s a fairly small stitch count if you just go by measurements, but don’t be deceived, it’s full coverage. I do mean FULL coverage. So much stitching! Now that I’ve finished it, I’m waiting on a bust of Pallas that I ordered to show up so I can decide on a frame that will hold the bust on top of it. It’s been a hard slog to stitch it, even though I love the poem, and the design, but the Nevermore cross stitch pattern is well worth it if you’re a fan of Poe. Here are the pictures of the stitching:

With that finished, it’s time to move on to other projects.

This week, it’s the Slytherin crest (with a fair amount of progress in just two days!):

I can’t decide if I want to do ‘Never too old’ or ‘K is for Kelpie’ as my second project this week.

I’ll let you know next week which one I pick. In the mean time, though, I picked up my punch needle supplies again. I drew up a little pony inspired by Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, and I started filling her in with cotton candy colors. Here’s what I have:

As if all of the stitching wasn’t enough . . .

I also designed a new cross stitch pattern! This one is a Banshee, and will be in my etsy store tomorrow:

Who knows, I may even turn this and a few other deigns into punch needle patterns! Leave a comment if you’d like to see some of my designs turned into punch needle creations!

That’s all for now. Until next time, Happy Stitching!
