Disney Stitching

I have Disney stitching to show you today!

First, let me get something out of the way. I did not post last week because of a problem with the website. I swear, this thing can be more trouble than it’s worth sometimes lol. I am trying to stay consistent on my postings, but sometimes it’s just not possible. Now on to the Disney stitching!

I did finish the violin ornament:

Something unexpected happened.

A friend of mine (and fellow stitcher) sent me the piece she was working on. It’s the old Stoney Creek Disney kit of Walt and Mickey walking towards a castle! While she loves Disney stitching as much as I do, she thought she had messed up really badly on it, and wanted my help. She also kind of wants me to finish it for her (no complaints there, I’ve wanted to work on this one for a while). Here’s what we have between the two of us:

So far I haven’t seen any mistakes at all! It’s nice to work on but OMGhoul that Glissen Gloss is evil. It’s what makes the castle so sparkly and awesome, but it’s tough to work with, and you NEED a threader to get it onto the needle.

While I’m working on that . . .

I’m taking a bit of a break from all Christmas stitching to do mostly Disney stitching! So now I’m also working on Anna from Brook’s Books!

It may not seem like much, but I’ve done an okay amount of stitching on the draping bit of her skirt:

In other news:

The shop’s been doing surprisingly well. Crookshanks had a bit of a health scare last week, but he and Spooky are doing great now! And I’ve been playing DnD every other week with my friends. I’ve been playing around with the idea of writing about my experiences with that as a separate page here on my website, but I’d love to hear your input. Leave a comment and let me know what you think!

Until next time, Happy Stitching!
