This week’s top story: Kris Mouse
Yesterday I started and finished Mill Hill’s Kris Mouse kit. It’s super small and easy. There’s a lot of beads, but not so many as to be overwhelming. Here’s what it looks like finished:
I don’t think I’ve had a finish from Mill Hill quiet this fast before. There were some that were close, but I’m almost sure none took me less than a day to fully do up.
With this finish, this year’s Finish Count is up to 47!
In other stitchy news:
I’ve been working on the Disney Piece still. I’ve actually finished all the half stitches, and I’m now filling in the fuller bits of the sky. To keep me interested, and to keep me making decent progress, I’ve tentatively started a new goal of adding 200 stitches every other day. That is to say, I work on it one day, during which I add 200 stitches, and then I work on something else the next day. Here’s what I have right now:
That’s really all for stitching right now.
The Kris Mouse finish has put a bit of pep in my step so to speak. I hope to get three more finishes done this month, but I’m not counting on it. I’d actually be happy with one or two more finishes this month. Kris Mouse was such a quick and pleasant stitch that I wish the remaining two Mill Hill ornaments are just as easy. We’ll see in due time.
If you haven’t already, check out the special post I did last week about a problem I had with Pinterest.
As for my Etsy Shop not much is going on there right now. I have added a few new patterns, but the others will have to wait a bit.
That’s all for now. Until next time, Happy Stitching!
